It was an accidental discovery, one of the strange things that humans threw away and which ended up in the sewers for the turtles to find: an old, scratched bottle made of cloudy coloured glass.  Mikey took it home and washed it off in the kitchen sink, then pulled the stopper out to see what was inside.

1) He’s pissed that his enemies “trashed the amphibians exhibit,” so what does he do? Trash the alligator exhibit. 

2) Out of context, it just looks like he’s interrupting Bebop’s delicious spaghetti dinner for no reason at all.
