A Whitney-tized version of Rubit’s Punishment!Wheatley design. The unseen thing that’s making her so nervous is actually Wheatley himself. She doesn’t quite know how to react to someone so enormously tall.

Happy (belated) birthday Wurm! To commemorate the glorious anniversary of your existence I finally buckled down and drew you some Punishment fanart! Many apologies to Rubit for shamelessly ripping off ahem borrowing her Wheatley design.

I always thought the little moment where Chell stretches and catches Wheatley staring was hysterical. Geez Wheats, didn’t anyone teach you that that sort of thing is rude? (I do apologize for the poor quality of the scan however).

Also, I recalled a conversation where it was discussed how The Punishment would have played out with the genderbent versions of the characters, so I doodled up this little concept for Punishment!Whitney here:

The moment of realization in the mirror: “I’M A BLOODY HUMAN!!” I thought it would be funny for this version of human!Whitney to be as unusually tiny and as Wheatley is unusually tall, thus she is swimming in her jumpsuit there. 

I really admire you as a writer; you are so hard-working when it comes to it, and what winds up on the page is so wonderful. You are just so adept at capturing emotion and character and bending words to your will… And on top of all that you are an incredibly kind, funny, and caring person, and I am so glad to know you and to count you as a friend.

Happy birthday, Wurm, even if I am a little late! I hope your interview went well and I wish you all the best for the year ahead! Cheers!

Aww, Lacey, these really turned out great! I love your take on the stretching scene. His expression… he just looks so curious, haha! I can see the wheels turning in his head: “She’s doing more things without any clothes on. I should pay attention now in case she puts her clothes back on later.” And Chell’s scrunchy stretchy face is so cute too! It’s nice to see the two of them just peaceful and existing together. Such a warm and comfortable, domestic scene, even if Wheatley’s staring impolitely.

And aahh, I love that little girl-Wheatley (Whitney?) concept too! So cute. Of course GLaDOS would still just throw her in the same jumpsuit and let her just deal with it….

Thank you so much for these gifts! You know I admire your writing too, and it’s been a lot of fun getting to hang out with you more over the past couple of months. I’m thankful that we got to meet over this strange thing we enjoy and so glad to have you as a friend as well!

So, I took the time to type up some extra info and background type stuff for my Day by Day story. It isn’t terribly plot relevant so it probably won’t pop up in the story proper, but maybe it’s interesting? I dunno…
